CABLE ACCESS SHOWS

The G’Oddyssey -the story of an experimental rapper, and his quest to know the true reality Since his original emergence, in Portland, during a confluence of events including the pandemic shutdown, police protests, and drug decriminalization, G’Odd has had his trials and tribulations documented in what has become known as “The G’Oddyyesey”. In a series of movies supplemented by shorts, promos, and other, related media, the story has told of his joining a group called the Fire Brigade, who he eventually lead to their death, returns and dragging his deceased bandmates into an alternate reality to battle a collection of super villains who’ve developed grudges against him, learned the meaning of life, got shot, and forged a path towards the supreme goal of enlightenment. Since returning to his hometown, this has expanded to include a new Portland based series “Odd PDX” as well as the long brewing attempt to make a “talk show” style format with “Reporting from Oddlandia” With the help of Open Signal, a final installment of the movie series and a second round of “Odd PDX” are already underway. In the meantime, to celebrate the arrival of G’Odd on actual cable access, and to introduce his adventures to a new unsuspecting audience, an 8 episode collection has been prepared especially for Portland Public Access TV. It features the complete “Odd PDX” series with a collection of segments culled from the movies and some of the various attempts at journalism that led up to “Reporting to Oddlandia”.

REPORTING FROM ODDLANDIA Hosted by G’Odd Music, culture, community and nonsense reported by an Odd G It has been a long road for G’Odd to reach one of his major goals and dream roles: to be a talk show host. A couple of attempts at interview-based series didn’t take hold, but that did not dissuade him. As previously noted, the music is full of grift, bottom feeding, and worthless pseudo journalism. But, with a little effort and dedication, it could be worse. And so came to be “Reporting from Oddlandia” Will G’Odd finally truncate the 4th estate or will he be eaten alive in cut throat world where real deal zines, podcasters and the established weekly or radio shows clash, doing battle for the distracted eyes and feeble attention spans of the masses. Who cares? It’s just G’Odd and he is Reporting from Oddlandia.
